Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is typically a more in-depth, long-term process that focuses on a person’s feelings and past experiences. It helps people with emotional difficulties and mental illnesses, as well as helping with a person’s entrenched and long-held patterns of thoughts and behaviours. There is emphasis on personal growth.

There are many different types of psychotherapy including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Exposure Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, EMDR, and Interpersonal Therapy.
